Municipal Pool Complex

The Bay Minette Municipal Pool Complex is at 1300 Bradley Avenue, located at the intersection of East 12th Street. ​ The municipal facility includes two pools and multiple slides and a diving board. The smaller pool features a zero entry, which makes it wheelchair accessible. Also located at the pool complex are multiple tennis courts, basketball courts, a walking path and universal playground, which are free and open to the public.

The Bay Minette Municipal Pool is part of the city’s Recreation Department and Blake Clark serves as the Certified Pool Operator and Manager of daily operations.

Hours: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 1 to 6 p.m. Sunday.

Pool Rules

• Non-members under the age of 16-years of age must be accompanied by an adult 18-years or older. Valid ID required.
• Appropriate swimwear required. No shorts, jeans, tank tops or T-shirts allowed in pools.
• No smoking, vaping, or tobacco products allowed.
• No profanity and/or obscene gestures.
• No outside food or drinks. Food and drinks only allowed in designated areas.
• No running.
• No flipping or diving from pool deck area.
• No hanging, pulling or sitting on pool ropes.
• Children under 2-years of age must wear swim diaper.
• Children using flotation devices must be supervised by an adult.
• No children 12-years and older allowed in splash pool.
• Children should not be left unattended in splash pool. 

Pool rules are posted around the facility and are intended for the safety and well-being of everyone. Anyone violating these rules will receive a warning or asked to leave the premises. Repeated violations could result in revocation of membership or loss of pool privileges for the season.

Announcement

We have upgraded our pool guest services by implementing a check-in software at the pool! To enter the pool, all members will be required to have a pass. Once enrollment is completed, passes will be available for pick-up at the pool or Bay Minette Recreation Department.

Tiger Sharks Swim Team

Registration for the Tiger Sharks Swim Team will open soon. The fee is $110 which includes a team swim cap and shirt. There is a $10 discount for each additional child from the same family. No previous experience required, but children 8-years and younger will be evaluated. 

Booking your Private Party

• $100.00 Non-Refundable Booking Fee is required to hold your date; full payment due prior to the party.
• Private parties can only be scheduled during non-pool hours (after 6 p.m.)
• Private parties must be scheduled at least 2 weeks in advance
• Lifeguards will be provided for all private parties
• Party host is responsible for cleanup after the party
• Food and drinks only allowed in designated areas
• Alcoholic Beverages, Smoking and Tobacco Products are prohibited at the pool and all City Parks.
• Concessions will not be provided for private pool parties unless prior arrangements have been made.

Directions to Pool

Coming from Mobile on I-65: Take the AL-59 S exit, EXIT 34, toward Bay Minette. Stay straight to go onto HAND AVENUE/AL-287. Turn LEFT on E 12th Street. (There is a sign that says City Pool; First Baptist Church is on right hand side of road). Turn left on Bradley Avenue (you will see the pool complex) and then right into the parking lot.

Coming from US Hwy 31 S: Go NORTH on US-31 N/AL-59 N and continue to follow US-31 N/AL-59 N until you get to Bay Minette over pass; stay straight until you see Wal-Mart on your left hand side; Next to Ruby Tuesday's there is a road called WEST 9th Street, turn onto W 9th Street and go straight until you come to a RED LIGHT; turn left at the red light onto HAND AVENUE; go up three blocks and take a right onto 12th Street (First Baptist Church will be on your left hand side and there is a sign that says City Pool); go straight on 12th; take a left on Bradley Avenue (you will see the Pool Complex) and then right into the parking lot.
